Family history for 4 generations in Languedoc

The Vellas adventure

We have always had a close relationship with agriculture, with over 1000 hectares of cereals, pastures and olive groves, 1200 bulls and Camargue horses, and vineyards.

Located in the communes of Teyran and Le Crès, close to Montpellier, between the Pic St Loup and the Mediterranean Sea, our main family estate, the Mas du Pont vineyard in Languedoc region, is the center of our activities, a place for culture, tradition, sharing and events around vines, wine, gastronomy and bulls.

Nicolas Vellas has given a new vision and a new impetus to this fine family business, which has grown from an initial 13 hectares of vines to 350 hectares today.
